What we did

Historic, layered, and intentionally restrained.

Built in 1906, the Inca project was about honoring the soul of a historic home while making it feel comfortable, warm, and relevant for modern living. As a rental, the scope required a thoughtful, light-touch approach focusing on reversible updates that still delivered impact.

We reworked the fireplace using peel-and-stick tile to create a new focal point without permanent alteration, grounding the living space and adding texture. Art played a major role throughout the home, bringing personality and visual interest while allowing the architecture to remain intact. Traditional-leaning rugs were selected to bridge the gap between the home’s original character and the more mid-century furniture pieces, creating balance rather than contrast.

The result is a space that feels collected, cozy, and lived in. Proof that even small, considered changes can dramatically shift how a home feels.
