What we did

Mid-century roots, brought into the present.

Built in 1956, this Virginia Village home is a true mid-century gem. The goal of the project was not to reinvent the house, but to highlight what already made it special while layering in contemporary touches that make it feel inviting, functional, and current.

We leaned into clean lines, warm wood tones, and vintage-inspired elements, balancing them with softer textures and modern finishes. Thoughtful furniture placement, curated art, and material contrast helped the home feel cohesive without becoming overly styled.

This project is a study in restraint: honoring mid-century design principles while allowing the home to evolve naturally. With future remodel phases planned, the foundation was intentionally set to support long-term livability and flexibility as the home continues to grow with its owners.

Let’s talk about your home.
